Our Faculty and Staff

The goal of the faculty and staff of the Department of Radio-Television is to educate and serve the students who enroll in our program. Teaching is the number one priority. The Radio-TV faculty are world renowned media researchers and producers. Their work has appeared on PBS, CBS Network, A & E, National Geographic and the History Channel. Collectively they have published numerous scholarly books, articles and journals.
The Good News page brings you some of the faculty and staff achievements over the past month. We feature and highlight one faculty member and one of their students or former students each month in the Faculty Spotlight.
The Radio-TV staff consists of a full time adviser solely dedicated to guiding students, and an equipment manager to assist on getting the best equipment for shoots. The Mass Communication building is also the home of WSIU TV and FM radio and the WSIU Public Broadcasting staff. Station staff also work with students on a daily basis guiding and mentoring them in their careers. Students appear often on WSIU TV and are heard every day on the radio station.
